Jonathan Honig
Dispute Resolution Section

Jonathan Honig of New York (Feder Kaszovitz LLP) has been elected chair of the Dispute Resolution Section of the New York State Bar Association.

Honig received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and earned his law degree from the University of Chicago Law School.

Honig is a partner of Feder Kaszovitz LLP and specializes in all aspects of arbitration, mediation, and litigation, including employment, IP, securities, real estate and construction, bankruptcy and international matters. Honig has tried many cases and argued numerous appeals before the Second Circuit and New York appellate courts. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Honig was a partner of Wolf Block Schorr & Solis-Cohen, LLP. Honig has served as an American Arbitration Association, New York Stock Exchange and Eastern District of New York arbitrator and as a mediator in numerous complex commercial matters. 

Honig is also a member of the Labor and Employment, Commercial and Federal Litigation and International Sections. Within the Commercial and Federal Litigation Section, he is a member of the Committees on Evidence and International Litigation. He previously was a member of the State Bar’s Committee on Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Honig is a frequent author and presenter on international arbitration matters and material adverse effect clauses.
