Municipal Law Section
The program will span a variety of topics of interest to practitioners including: Emergency Preparedness—From Swine Flu to Floods; Labor Issues for 2010—Weathering Workforce Challenges in this Economic Crisis; Hot Topics—Addressing Newly Breaking Issues in the Field; an Overview of the New State Law on Consolidation of Municipal Governments—Sometimes Against the Municipality’s Wishes; and Ethics for Municipal Attorneys. Finally, in a program of interest to both municipal and non-municipal attorneys, attorney/actor Matthew Arkin will present tips for the attorney as the public speaker.
