Guardian ad Litem: What You Need to Know (2012)

This half-day program recording will qualify you for an appointment as a guardian ad litem in Surrogate’s Court or other court.

The program includes coverage of: 1) the substantive rules and law of Part 36 of the Rules of the Chief Judge (22 NYCRR Part 36) governing court appointment of fiduciaries, 2) ethics, and 3) the procedural aspects of serving as a guardian ad litem as well as the substantive role of a guardian ad litem in various proceedings.

The program faculty includes experienced trusts and estates practitioners and Surrogate’s Court personnel.
