The Committee on Pro Bono and Public Interest seeks to increase Section members' awareness of their professional obligation to provide pro bono legal services to the indigent and to promote the pro bono and public interest activities of the Section.   The Committee meets periodically to consider ways to increase pro bono and public interest services, often conferring with judges and public interest law advocates on these topics. The Committee comments on bar association reports that affect the underrepresented and prepares reports on issues of pro bono and public interest law.
