WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND THIS PROGRAM

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

All attorneys are eligible to attend this program! Newly admitted attorneys can satisfy all of their annual MCLE requirements by attending this two-day program which is ideal for “bridging the gap” between law school and the realities of practicing law in New York State. Experienced attorneys who have an interest in other areas of practice can also attend and benefit from this program by learning practical information from skilled and experienced practitioners!

Program faculty will speak from the New York City location and will be broadcast live to other locations in an interactive video conference format, allowing “real time” interaction between all locations.  This program is approved for MCLE credit for newly admitted attorneys in all locations, regardless of format.

This two-day program will cover different topics in various areas of practice on each day and offers a total of 16.0 MCLE credits: 1.5 in ethics, 3.0 credits in skills, and 3.5 in areas of professional practice each day.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Please Note: Course materials for this program are being distributed exclusively in electronic form. Prior to the program date, all registrants will receive an email message containing a link to the complete course materials and will have access to a searchable PDF version of the course materials. Registrants who will be bringing a computer or tablet to the program are strongly advised to save the course materials on the computer in advance.  Printing the materials is not required - once you have saved them, you will be able to access those materials at any time by simply opening the file.  Online materials are updated periodically to reflect late submissions from program faculty.

A CLE NotePad containing copies of available PowerPoint presentations, relevant panel outlines and lined pages for taking notes on each topic will be distributed on the day of the program.
