Glenn Lau-Kee Glenn Lau-Kee of New York (Kee & Lau-Kee, PLLC) has been elected Member-At-Large of the Executive Committee of the New York State Bar Association. Lau-Kee received his undergraduate degree from Yale University and earned his law degree from Boston University School of Law. Lau-Kee concentrates his practice in real estate and business law. He previously was a partner of Koo Larrabee Lau-Kee & Lane LLP and an associate of Coudert Brothers. Elected to the Executive Committee for a second term, Lau-Kee is a member of the State Bar’s House of Delegates, Task Force on the State of Our Courthouses, and the Special Committees on Legal Specialization and Sarbanes-Oxley Issues. Within the Committee on Membership, he co-chairs the Membership Challenge Subcommittee. He is chair of the Committee on Diversity and Leadership Development’s Minority Bar Association Relationship Subcommittee. He previously was a member of the Special Committee on Multijurisdictional Practice and the Youth Outreach Committee. Lau-Kee currently serves on the Board of Directors for the New York Bar Foundation and the Fund for Modern Courts. Lau-Kee served as President of the Asian American Bar Association of New York from 1997-1999. He was appointed by retied Chief Judge Judith S. Kaye to serve on the Commission to Examine Solo and Small Firm Practice and the Committee to Promote Public Trust and Confidence in the Legal System. He previously served on the Board of Directors of Legal Services for New York City and the New York County Lawyers Association. Lau-Kee is an active member of the YMCA of Greater New York where he serves on the Board of Directors and chairs the finance committee. |
