Employment Law Section 9:30am-12:30pm -COURSE DESCRIPTION- The focus of this course will be on helping attorneys with little or no experience in equal employment opportunity cases gain valuable knowledge, training, and insight into the substantive and procedural aspects of EEO laws, and the process of representing pro se plaintiffs in employment discrimination cases that are referred to mediation. The course will also address ethical issues in the context of mediation. While the focus is on representing pro se litigants during mediation, the material and program will be valuable to many practitioners, including those looking to become familiar with and knowledgeable of equal employment opportunity laws.
