Dispute Resolution Annual Meeting Program

- Location - Join the Dispute Resolution Section at their Annual Meeting held at the Hilton New York in New York City on Thursday, January 24, 2013. The MCLE program will begin at 9:15 a.m., followed by a Networking Luncheon at 12:00 p.m. at Morrison & Foerster LLP. This year’s program will feature four panels: “No Longer Business As Usual,” “New Tools for A New Age,” “Hot Topics in Arbitration and Lessons for the Future” and “Ethically and Effectively Maximizing Mediation Outcomes for Your Client.” Under New York’s MCLE rule, this program has been approved for a total of 5.0 credit hours, consisting of 1.0 credit hours in Ethics and Professionalism, 1.0 credit hours in Law Practice Management and 3.0 credit hours in Areas of Professional Practice. This course will NOT qualify for credit for newly admitted attorneys because it is not a basic skills program. After the MCLE program there will be a cocktail reception. This year the section’s cocktail reception will be offsite at the Offices of Dorsey & Whitney LLP, 51 West 52nd Street. The reception will be in Honor of Maris Buckner, former ADR Coordinator of the Commercial Division of the NYS Supreme Court of New York County.
