STATE BAR ASSOCIATION HOSTS FORUM ON
PRO BONO OPPORTUNITIES IN CAPITAL DISTRICT
Chief Judge Jonathan Lippman and New York State Bar Association
President Seymour W. James, Jr. (The Legal Aid Society in New York City)
will deliver opening remarks at “Pro Bono Anew,” a program
on volunteer opportunities for attorneys in the Capital District, on
Tuesday, November 13 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the State Bar Center, One
Elk Street, Albany.
The program will focus on new pro bono initiatives adopted by the
state court system, as well as local opportunities for attorneys to
provide legal assistance to low-income New Yorkers.
