NEW YORK STATE BAR ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCES NEW
HIRE AND PROMOTIONS
ALBANY—The New York State Bar Association has hired an Albany
attorney for an executive position and promoted four staff members.
Andria Bentley of Albany joined as executive
services counsel. She had been a senior court attorney with the New York
State Court of Appeals. She is a graduate of the State University of New
York at Albany and Albany Law School.
Richard Martin of Clifton Park was named assistant
executive director. Previously, he served as senior director of
marketing and information services. Martin joined the State Bar in 1998.
He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany and Sage
Graduate School, where he earned an MBA degree.
Kristin O’Brien of Watervliet was named senior
director of finance. She had been director of finance. O’Brien
joined the State Bar in 1998. She is a graduate of St. Bonaventure
University.
Teresa Schiller of Rensselaer was named executive
services counsel. She had been director of law practice management.
Schiller joined the State Bar in 2010. She is a graduate of Rice
University and the University of Chicago Law School.
Katherine Suchocki of Halfmoon was named director of
law practice management. Previously, she served as a staff attorney in
the Continuing Legal Education Department. Suchocki joined the State Bar
in 2005. She is a graduate of Syracuse University and Albany Law
School.
The 77,000-member New York State Bar Association is the largest
voluntary state bar association in the nation. It was founded in
1876.
