Elizabeth M. Hecht is the new chair of the 2,314-member Trial Lawyers Section.

Hecht is a partner at Mead Hecht Conklin & Gallagher in White Plains. She concentrates her practice in the defense of all varieties of tort actions from inception through appeal.

A 28-year member of the State Bar, Hecht recently served as vice-chair of the Trial Lawyers Section.

Hecht graduated from Fairfield University and earned her law degree cum laude from Pace University School of Law. She also has a master’s degree from the Catholic University of America. She is a resident of Pound Ridge.
