Young Lawyers Section
Michael L. Fox of Walden is the new chair of the 3,708-member Young
Lawyers Section.
Fox is a litigation managing attorney and associate of Jacobowitz
& Gubits. He concentrates his practice in commercial litigation and
general, federal and state civil litigation.
An eight-year member of the State Bar, Fox is the New York Young
Lawyer Delegate to the American Bar Association House of Delegates. He
previously served as secretary and treasurer of the Young Lawyers
Section. He also chaired the section’s Committee on Community
Service & Pro Bono. He is a member of the Committee on Annual
Award.
Fox graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from
Bucknell University. He earned his law degree from Columbia University
School of Law, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and an articles
editor of the Columbia Business Law Review.
