The Hack and the Wonk on New York State Government Today - A Seasoned Journalist's Perspective vs. An Old[er] Professor's View Politics can make for some pretty legendary pairings. Think Jim Carville and Mary Matalin, Sean Hannity and Alan Colmes, Jon Stewart and Tucker Carlson, and Michael Kinsley and Robert Novak. But famous political pairings are not exclusive to Washington. Consider the father and daughter team of Gerald Benjamin ("Wonk") and Liz Benjamin ("Hack"). Each is known individually for their political savy, insight and thoughtful commentary on all that is Albany politics. But together, their observations, anecdotes and perspectives could cause sparks to fly - or at a minimum, result in a lively debate. Don't miss this opportunity to hear what two of New York's finest political commentators have to say about the state of New York State.
