We are pleased to announce our 33rd annual
law-related and civic education conference,
Oct. 15 & 16, 2009.
This year's theme:
Dealing with the New World Order
A series of seminars and workshops addressing environmental issues,
financial literacy, economic topics and equality. Issues, including (but
not limited to) global warming, the economic impact of environmental
changes, historic economic events, civic engagement, immigration,
and participatory government.
Conference fee of $90 includes all meals, a cruise on Lake George,
registration for all five sessions (20 workshops scheduled), and
materials.

LUIS J. DEGRAFFE SUMMER ACADEMY
With the support of the Office of Diversity Initiatives of the
Law School Admission Council (LSAC), Project LAWbound builds upon Latino
Justice’s current pre-law programming with the primary objective
of identifying Latino students early in their college career and
providing targeted services that address some of the most common
barriers to admission to law school. The Academy is August 10-14, 2009.
The curriculum is an academic empowerment program that introduces legal
methods and processes, and provides comprehensive pre-law
