Engaging and Working with Investigative Consultants (2007)
A panel comprised of
experienced investigators, civil and criminal litigation practitioners,
and in-house counsel, discusses various aspects of hiring, managing and
working with investigators in different settings.
The program covers such questions as how and when
attorneys use investigators in civil, criminal and internal
investigative matters; structuring and managing the
attorney-investigator relationship; and the boundaries of permissible
investigative conduct, including discussion of the allegations of
improper conduct in such matters as the Hewlett-Packard boardroom leak
investigation.
