We are delighted to invite you to participate in the Environmental Law Section's "Classroom Project."  As lawyers, we are especially equipped to teach students about what we do.  Without question, environmental issues are very hot these days.

This Project became a reality under the leadership of Peter Casper, New York State Thruway Authority, and the contributions of Aliza Cinamon, Proskauer Rose LLP, New York; Bridget Lee, Sive Paget & Riesel, New York; Joseph Mouallem, Carter Ledyard & Milburn, New York; and Brody Smith, Bond Schoeneck & King, Syracuse.

These capable attorneys have compiled teaching materials on environmental topics from various sources.  As you navigate this site, you will see that the materials are organized by topic within each grade level.  Please take some time to browse through these materials - they are full of information and fun ideas.  And when you do go into the classroom, tell us afterward how it went!

This site will continue to evolve and grow.  We will update it frequently by adding new lesson plans and amending or removing lesson plans based upon your feedback.  If you create your own materials, feel free to forward them to us, and we will be sure to post them for others to use.

May you have many rewarding teachable moments!
