MISSION STATEMENT

  The mission of the Immigration & Nationality Committee is to enhance the quality of immigration and nationality law and practice, and to grow the professional development of our members.  Through our seminars we seek to support members to competently pursue their law practice and to promote the delivery of competent ethical and lawful immigration services.  Also, through strategic partnerships with other lawyer committees, we encourage support for pro bono services and programs.  We also meet with representatives from government agencies so that our lawyers will have an increased understanding of the practical aspects of practicing immigration law.  The Committee also seeks to meet with non-governmental organizations to ensure that the administration of immigration policy serves the national interest and is administered justly. We also engage in outreach to the immigrant community on issues of relevance to them.
