COMMITTEE ON INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S RIGHTS

MISSION STATEMENT

The International Women’s Rights Committee advances the progress of the world’s women by (1) raising awareness about current legal barriers which significantly impede women’s development; (2) supporting the reform of laws that hinder women’s advancement; and (3) implementing existing laws to promote and protect the rights of women globally. 

The IWRC shall carry out these goals through (1) organizing educational programs; (2) advocating for certain actions to support women’s rights; (3) and connecting members of the IWRC and the greater Association with international women’s rights projects that could benefit from their assistance.
