FOURTH ANNUAL
PETROLEUM SPILLS SYMPOSIUM
11:45 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
The Environmental Law Section’s Petroleum Spills
Committee will host its Fourth Annual Petroleum Spills Symposium on
April 17, 2013 from 11:45 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the New York State
Bar Association Bar Center in Albany. The Symposium will be a
number of lively interactive round table discussions focusing on pending
State legislation that impacts petroleum spills, including proposed
changes to the State Brownfield Cleanup law, as well as discussions on
environmental liens, remediation cleanup goals and remediation
strategies, among other timely topics. The Symposium will include
an update on the Oil Spill Fund activities, as well as a review of the
recent Navigation Law cases. The Fourth Annual Petroleum Spills
Symposium will continue its tradition of providing practitioners with a
forum to discuss timely topics and exchange ideas related to petroleum
spills in the State of New York.
The Symposium does NOT provide MCLE credit. Please contact

suggest and/or a hypothetical to cover. A light lunch will be
provided and there will be a cocktail reception following the
Symposium.
