Description

This program will focus on crucial aspects and repercussions of healthcare professional disciplinary processes, exploring strategic decisions that must be made at critical stages.  The program will emphasize anticipation and management of the far-reaching collateral consequences of professional discipline, including the impact on the licensee’s ability to participate in governmental and commercial healthcare payment programs.  Speakers will discuss ways in which the constructive use of settlement procedures, such as OPD’s informal settlement conference, can result in optimal resolution.  Topics include restoration of professional licenses and representation of impaired professionals.
