What does it mean to practice sports law? At its core, "sports
law" is not an independent practice area, but rather a compilation of
many different legal disciplines relevant to sports. The purpose
of this program is to give the attendee a sense of some areas of the law
most frequently touched upon by the business of sports. Practitioners
from each of these disciplines discuss the types of sports matters
they encounter in their practice and describe the relevant legal
framework. Topics to be discussed include: IP/Media Rights;
Labor & Employment/Antitrust; Corporate/M&A; Sport/Competition
law; Amateur/Youth Sports; US/International
