Jonathan Behrins
Vice-President, 13th District

Jonathan Behrins of Staten Island (Behrins & Behrins, P.C.) has been selected to serve as Vice-President for the 13th Judicial District of the New York State Bar Association’s Executive Committee.

Behrins received his undergraduate degree from Colorado College and earned his law degree from Brooklyn Law School.

Behrins is a partner of Behrins & Behrins, P.C., a general practice law firm. He is responsible for the overall management and coordination of legal, operational, marketing and public relations activities. He previously was an associate attorney/paralegal at Bruce G. Behrins & Associates.

A 15-year member of the State Bar, Behrins is a past member of the Committee on the Jury System. He is the president of the Richmond County Bar Association, of which he has been a member of the Board of Directors for 10 years.

Behrins is a frequent lecturer on employment law, evidence, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, and other legal issues. He is a former member of the Seaman’s Society for Children Board of Directors and has coordinated several events for the Boy Scouts of America.
