Harry P. Meislahn
Vice-President, 3rd District

Harry P. Meislahn of Albany (McNamee, Lochner, Titus & Williams, P.C) has been elected to serve as Vice-President for the 3rd Judicial District of the New York State Bar Association’s Executive Committee.

Meislahn received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University, cum laude, and earned his law degree from Cornell Law School.

Meislahn is of counsel to McNamee, Lochner, Titus & Williams, P.C, concentrating his practice in financial services and trusts and estates administration. He joined the firm in 1966. From 1980-988, Meislahn was the General Counsel for the firm’s client, Norstar Bancorp. From 1988-1993, he was assistant general counsel of Fleet Financial Group, successor to Norstar. In 1993, he rejoined McNamee as a principal, later serving as the firm’s managing principal from 1994 to 2001.

A four-year member of the State Bar’s House of Delegates, Meislahn has served on the Business Law Section’s Executive Committee since 2000. He previously served on the Corporate Counsel Section’s Executive Committee and the Task Force to Review Terrorism Legislation.

An active leader in his community, Meislahn served as board president of the Legal Society of Northeastern New York and the Albany Academy. He served as board secretary for the Albany Institute of History and Art from 2001-2004. Meislahn is also a veteran member of the New York Bankers Association Lawyers Advisory Committee.
