Rebecca A. Slezak
Vice-President, 4th District

Rebecca A. Slezak of Amsterdam (Montgomery Family Court) was elected vice-president for the 4th district of the New York State Bar Association Executive Committee.

Slexak has served as the court attorney to the Montgomery County Family Court since January 2003. Prior to this position, she was an associate with the Albany law firm at Ainsworth, Sullivan, Tracy, Knauf, Warner & Ruslander. She previously served as an assistant public defender in the Montgomery County Public Defender’s Office and as town prosecutor in the Town of Coeymans.

Since June 2010, Slezak has served as Montgomery County’s delegate to the State Bar House of Delegates. She is secretary/treasurer of the Montgomery County Bar Association. She also is a member of the Albany County Bar Association.

Slezak received her undergraduate degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and earned her law degree from Albany Law School.
