This program is intended for both experienced and junior
practitioners and provides a broad overview of the emerging field of
animal law, explores specific cutting-edge issues in this area, and
offers practical tips on incorporating animal law into a law practice.
The faculty includes experienced practitioners who have chosen to focus
their law practices primarily on animal law or who have incorporated
animal law into broader practice areas, as well as practitioners who
have enriched their professional lives through pro bono service in
animal law. The speakers discuss their focus areas within animal law,
individual experiences, cases of interest, substantive law and current
issues relevant to their animal law practices, and offer advice and
insight on building a successful animal law practice.
