The New York State Judicial Screening Committees are seeking applications for the following positions:

• Additional Justice of the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Department: Applicants must be elected New York State Supreme Court Justices and reside in New York State.
  
• Additional Justice of the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Department: Applicants must be elected New York State Supreme Court Justices and reside in New York State.
  
• Judge of the New York State Court of Claims
  • One vacancy resulting from the anticipated retirement of a Court of Claims judge in Rochester, who was appointed pursuant to Court of Claims Act § 2(a).  The term for this position expires December 31, 2020.
  • One vacancy resulting from the anticipated retirement of a Court of Claims judge in Albany, appointed pursuant to Court of Claims Act § 2 (d) and who served as an acting Supreme Court Justice.  The term for this position expires December 31, 2013.

Court of Claims applicants must reside in New York State, be admitted to practice law in New York State for at least ten years and be attorneys in good standing.

Applications must be received by the close of business on July 20, 2012.  Late applications will not be considered for these vacancies.
