Social Media and the Public Sector Workplace

Social media is having a dramatic impact on labor and employment law.Discussions over that impact, however, have largely centered on theapplication of National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) to social media as itrelates to private sector employers, unions and employees. This programwill analyze social media in the public sector workplace by comparingand contrasting the scope of protections under public sector law to theNLRA.
