Constitution Day ~ Sept. 17, 2010
In order to convey
the importance of the Constitution to students, the New
York State Bar Association’s Law, Youth and Citizenship (LYC)
Committee has created a website packed with a wealth of educational
programs and classroom resources to assist teachers in observing
'Constitution and Citizenship Day.’ Parents,
educators, students, school administrators, board members and the
general public can visit LYC’s website, located at www.nysba.org/ConstitutionDay,
for a directory of lesson plans, celebration ideas, online games and
classroom simulations.
