 Meet the Officers and Committee Chairs

Richard Weil has mediated over
300 cases in private practice and for Federal and state courts in New
York, New Jersey and California, principally involving business and
employment matters. He began his career litigating Title VII cases
for the Civil Rights Division of the US. Justice Department and
subsequently established a litigation and transactional practice that
focused on business, employment, real estate and family law. Mr.
Weil has trained mediators and has represented clients in numerous
ADR proceedings. He spearheaded a survey of New York
litigators’ views on mediation for the State and City Bar
Associations, organized and chaired a City Bar program that featured
distinguished litigators giving practical tips on mediation advocacy and
authored an article about New York mediation for the ABA Dispute
