Prices for consumer pamphlet series
The price for each of the titles in the Association's "LegalEase"
series of public information pamphlets is $12.50 for NYSBA members and
$22.50 for non-members per 50 (Note: each title comes bundled in
packages of 50. Therefore, the minimum number of copies that can be
purchased for each title is 50). A quantity discount of ten percent
(10%) applies towards the purchase of individual titles or a
complete set of pamphlets. The price for a pamphlet rack that holds nine
pamphlets is $32 for NYSBA members and $42 for non-members. Pamphlet
racks that hold 12 pamphlets are available for $36 for NYSBA members,

While the pamphlets are not designed to answer specific legal
questions, they do inform the public of legal problems and help to
enhance the profession's image, and members have found the series to be
a useful marketing tool. Lawyers purchase the "LegalEase" pamphlets for
distribution to clients; major New York-based corporations have
purchased quantities to provide to their employees and news releases
mentioning the availability of single free copies of each pamphlet have
been published statewide in weekly newspapers. Some practitioners use
them as handouts at public speeches, People's Law School programs, and
fairs.
