The Historical Society of the New York Courts is proud to present a
program developed with the Chief Judge of the State of New York PRO
BONO, New York Lawyers and Public Service: Looking Back Looking
Forward. The evening will feature remarks by Chief Judge Lippman, a
look back at the rich history of pro bono in New York, an "interview" by
Former Chief Judge Judith Kaye of Judge Robert S. Smith about his own
pro bono service, and a distinguished panel considering pro bono for the
future.
