CLIFTON PARK MAN NAMED ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
OF NEW YORK STATE BAR ASSOCIATION
ALBANY— Richard J. Martin of Clifton Park has been named
assistant executive director of the New York State Bar Association.
In his new role, Martin leads the Membership Services Division, which
includes the marketing, membership services and section services
departments.
“For over a decade, the State Bar has greatly benefited from
Rich Martin’s strong business background and extensive marketing
expertise. Those skills – along with his outstanding sense of
professionalism, drive and effective leadership – make him the
ideal candidate to take on this new role,” said State Bar
Executive Director Patricia K. Bucklin.
Most recently, Martin served as senior director of marketing and
information services at the State Bar. He joined as director of
marketing in 1998.
Previously, he served as vice-president of client services at Wolkcas
Communications Group.
Martin serves on the Capital Region board of advisors for the
American Cancer Society. He previously was treasurer of the New York
Capital Region Chapter of the American Marketing Association.
Martin is a graduate of the University of Albany and Sage Graduate
School. He is a native of Queensbury.
The 77,000-member New York State Bar Association is the largest
voluntary state bar association in the nation. It was founded in
1876.
