NEW YORK STATE BAR ASSOCIATION PRESENTS BEST
PRACTICES IN LEGAL MANAGEMENT CLE PROGRAM
Live Program and Webcast to Provide the Latest
Strategies and Tips to Be Effective Law Firm Managers
A panel of experts will give a behind-the-scenes look at the
day-to-day operations of a law firm during an upcoming Continuing
Legal Education (CLE) program that will provide legal administrators and
management practitioners with the latest strategies and tips on how to
be more effective managers of their law practices. Co-sponsored by the
New York State Bar Association Committee on Law Practice Management
(LPM) and the New York City Chapter of The Association of Legal
Administrators (ALANYC), the Thursday, February 25th live program will
take place from 9:00 a.m.– 5:30 p.m. at the Roosevelt Hotel
(Madison Avenue at 45th Street) in New York City.
“Whether it’s hearing the latest trends in business
development or learning how to take advantage of the newest technology
systems, legal management practitioners of all types will benefit from
attending this excellent program,” said State Bar Association
President Michael E. Getnick (Getnick Livingston Atkinson & Priore,
LLP of Utica and of counsel to Getnick & Getnick of New York City).

of experts to share their strategies and best practices in helping
managers to achieve the greatest success for their law firms.”
Gary A. Munneke, chair of the State Bar’s Committee on Law
Practice Management and a Professor of Law at Pace Law School in White
Plains, will moderate the panel, comprising expert directors, managers
and administrators at some of the nation’s top law firms and
technology companies. Featured topics will include Strategic and
Organizational Planning, Business Development, Human Resources,
Financial Management, Procurement, Operations Management, Technology and
Systems Management, and Space Planning and Design.

for a total of 8.0 CLE credits.

Practices in Legal Management—A Comprehensive Guide
(2010) along with a USB flash drive or CD containing
numerous useful legal management templates and forms.
