COMMITTEE ON ANIMALS AND THE LAW TEAMS UP WITH
BEST-SELLING AUTHOR STEVE CHANDLER TO PROVIDE COMPLIMENTARY AUDIO
PROGRAM “DIFFERENCE-MAKING IN CHALLENGING TIMES”
Program provides practical advice to make life
improvements
ALBANY—The New York State Bar
Association’s Committee on Animals and the Law and best-selling
author Steve Chandler have teamed up to help make a difference for
animals and people by making available a free audio recording of
Chandler’s recent presentation, “Difference-Making in
Challenging Times.” This innovative program offers practical
suggestions for making improvements to one’s life and practice. As
a service to the legal profession and to the public, a link to a free
download of the program is available on the committee’s Web site
at: http://www.nysba.org/animals.
The program addresses the challenges that animal lawyers face, such as
billable hours and difficult animal cruelty cases. Chandler offered tips
for improving the business model for law firms and advice on how to find
and sustain motivation with complicated cases. Chandler also discussed
effective leadership strategies for individuals and organizations.
Chandler also has agreed to serve on the Committee’s Advisory
Panel, an animal law resource composed of non-committee members, along
with current members, New York State Bar Association Immediate Past
President Kathryn Grant Madigan of Binghamton (Levene Gouldin &
Thompson LLP), and the New York Conference of Mayors and Other Municipal
Officials (NYCOM).
Steve Chandler is the best-selling author of “100 Ways to Motivate
Yourself and Reinventing Yourself,” as well as a business coach
and motivational speaker. He has helped CEOs, top professionals, major
