Annual award honors the contributions of New
York’s public service attorneys
ALBANY—The New York State Bar Association is seeking nominees
for the 2010 Award for Excellence in Public Service. Sponsored by the
Committee on Attorneys in Public Service, the award recognizes
excellence by a member of the legal profession in the commitment to, and
performance of, public service. The award will be presented during the
State Bar’s Annual Meeting on Tuesday, January 26, 2010.
“Through their advocacy and unwavering dedication to serve the
public good, public service attorneys make a difference in the lives of
New Yorkers each day,” said Committee Chair Hon. Peter S. Loomis
