The Real Property Law Section of the New York State Bar Association

Model Title Insurance Disclosure Form View "Title
Insurance: Disclosure to and Consent by Client," which includes the
"Model Title Insurance Disclosure Form." The article and form were
published in the Winter 2009 issue of the N.Y. Real Property Law
Journal. The form has been approved by the RPLS's Title and
Transfer Committee.
Lorraine Power Tharp Scholarship Real Property
Law Section Donates $10,000 to establish Lorraine Power Tharp Scholarship with the New
York Bar Foundation. Annual Scholarship available to Second-
and Third-year students attending law schools in New York State.
Reform Finance Bill Daniel M. Shlufman, Esq., President and General
Counsel, FCMC Mortgage Corp. wrote an article on the new RESPA changes
in the Summer 2010 N.Y. Real Property Law

Power of Attorney Law - Chapter 340 AN ACT
to amend the general obligations law, in relation to powers
of attorney for financial and estate planning;
and directing the law revision
commission to study the implementation of such
powers of attorney became a law August 13, 2010, with the
approval of the Governor.
