Justin L. Vigdor
Senior Lawyers Section

Justin L. Vigdor of Rochester (Boylan, Brown Code Vigdor & Wilson LLP) is the section chair of the Senior Lawyers Section, the 25th section of the State Bar.

Vigdor received his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland and earned his law degree from St. John’s University magma cum laude. He also received an LL.M. from New York University.

Vigdor is senior counsel to Boylan, Brown Code Vigdor & Wilson LLP, concentrating his practice in business, corporate and securities, as well as alternative dispute resolution. He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America, Who’s Who, Who’s Who in American Law, Who’s Who in the World and New York Super Lawyers for many years.

Vigdor served as President of the New York State Bar Association in 1985-1986 and has served as a House of Delegates member since 1977. He previously served as Vice-President of the 7th Judicial District and as chair of the Professional Economics and Efficiency Research and Military Justice Committees and the Special Committees on Senior Lawyers and the Interest on Lawyer Account Advisory Committee. He is a past president of the New York Bar Foundation.

As a member of the Monroe County Bar Association, Vigdor served as its President (1977), was Chairman of its Corporation, Banking and Business Law Section (1972-1973) and was President of its Foundation.

Vigdor was also a member of the House of Delegates of the American Bar Association from 1984 to 1996 and was a Trustee of the National Conference of the Bar Foundations. For five years from its inception, he chaired the Board of the New York IOLA Fund.
