Mairead E. Connor
Labor and Employment Law Section
Mairead E. Connor of Syracuse (Law Offices of Mairead E. Connor,
PLLC) is the new section chair of the Labor and Employment Law Section
of the New York State Bar Association.
Connor received her undergraduate degree from Syracuse University and
earned her law degree from Syracuse University College of Law, summa cum
laude, where she was editor in chief of The Labor Lawyer.
Connor’s practice is dedicated to the representation of labor
unions and employees in all aspects of labor and employment and
discrimination matters. She has represented clients in numerous matters
before various state and federal agencies, federal and state courts, and
labor and employment arbitrations.
A 19-year member of the State Bar, Connor is a veteran member of the
Labor and Employment Law Section’s Executive Committee. She also
is co-chair of the section’s Diversity and Leadership
Committee.
A frequent speaker on labor and employment topics, Connor also is a
member of the American Bar Association’s Labor and Employment
Section and the Onondaga County Bar Association.
