Tracee E. Davis

Tracee E. Davis of Manhattan is the new chair of the 2,230-member
Commercial and Federal Litigation Section.
Davis is of counsel to Zeichner Ellman & Krause. She concentrates
her practice in consumer class actions defense, banking, commercial real
estate and insurance litigation.
A 20-year member of the State Bar, Davis has served as the
section’s chair-elect and secretary. She previously chaired the
section’s Committee on Diversity and co-chaired the State Court
Counsel Committee. She is a former member of the House of Delegates,
Committee on Children and the Law and Task Force on Wrongful
Convictions. Chief Judge Jonathan Lippman recently appointed her to
serve on the Task Force on Commercial Litigation in the 21st
Century.
Davis graduated from Montclair State University and earned her law
degree from American University, Washington College of Law.
