Ellen Weissman
Health Law Section
Ellen Weissman of Buffalo is the new chair of the 1,230-member Health
Law Section.
Weissman is a partner at Hodgson Russ and head of the firm's Health
Law Practice Group, concentrating on reimbursement, regulatory and
compliance matters for health care clients. She also maintains an office
in New York City.
A 25-year member of the State Bar, Weissman most recently was section
chair-elect. She previously chaired the section’s Payment &
Reimbursement Committee.
Weissman graduated with high honors from Swarthmore College and
earned her law degree from the University of California at Berkeley
School of Law.
