STATED PURPOSE

COMMITTEE ON COURT STRUCTURE & OPERATIONS

Formed: January 10, 2004

(Became standing committee November 1, 2008; renamed from the Committee on Court Structure and Judicial Selection June 2011)

The Committee on Court Structure and Operations (the “Committee”) shall review issues and proposals regarding the structure and operation of the State court system, with a view towards improving the delivery and administration of justice. To this end, the Committee shall consider proposals and recommendations relating to, among other things, the use and improvement of electronic technology in the court system.  Any report and recommendations by the Committee shall be submitted to the Executive Committee and/or the House of Delegates, as directed by the President.
