Family Court Training “On Demand”

The New York State Bar Association is pleased to announce that the June, 11, 2009 Family Court Training Program entitled, Mandated Representation in Family Court: Practical Guidance for Parents' Attorneys,  is available on DVD for legal services programs and volunteer lawyers projects who wish to use it to recruit and train volunteer lawyers in this substantive area of law.  This  5 credit MCLE program was recorded live and provided free of charge to lawyers who agreed to represent at least one low-income client referred by an established legal services program or volunteer legal project. 

If you would like to receive this four DVD set and a copy of the accompanying written materials, please contact: www.nysba.org/probono.  Pursuant to Office of Court Administration regulations ( 22 NYCRR 1500.12 [c] ) only experienced attorneys are eligible to receive  MCLE credit for viewing a pre-recorded program.
