Dear Potential Nominator:
The New York State Bar Association is
pleased to call for nominations for the 21st Annual
President’s Pro Bono Service Awards. Each year the
Association is privileged to recognize those who have made an
outstanding contribution providing free legal services to low-income
individuals in New York State. On January 27th, the
Executive Committee of the New York State Bar Association approved
changes to the eligibility criteria for some of these distinguished
awards and increased the number of award categories. To view the
revised criteria and other details about each of these awards click

Kindly share this information with your
colleagues and others in your community and encourage nominations. We
hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity to recognize the
significant pro bono contributions made by your colleagues by submitting
a nomination on their behalf.
If you have any questions or require
additional nominating forms, please contact the Department of Pro Bono
Affairs at (518) 487-5641 or send an e-mail to probono@nysba.org. The awards will be presented on Monday, May 2,
