The Law Practice Management Committee is offering the following programs to assist attorneys with their marketing through technology:

  • “Internet Marketing for Law Firms” was one of the first of these programs. Participants learned the secrets of Internet Marketing—not just having a website—but using the Web in a variety of ways to generate business legally and ethically. The CLE course was presented on May 6, 2009 and is now available for sale as an online program (downloadable to an MP3 player).
  • “Twittering, Linking, Posting & Friending- Legal Implications of Social Networking” presented as a telephone seminar on June 23, 2009, this program will assist attorneys in learning the basics of popular social networking tools. Participants will find out how to: participate in social networks and explore the possibilities and pitfalls of using: LinkedIn; Facebook or MySpace; Twitter; Blogs; YouTube and other Internet TV technologies. This program will be available as an online program on July 15, 2009. To purchase the program please call 1-800-582-2452. 
  • “How to Help Potential Clients Find You on the Web-Search Engine Optimization” this webinar will discuss how you can build a strong web presence yourself, and in the alternative how you can find someone to do it for you.
