33rd Annual
Civics & Law-Related Education Conference
When: Oct. 14-16, 2009
Where: Fort William Henry Conference Center
Lake George, New York
This year's Law, Youth and Citizenship Conference will feature 20
workshops. Our keynote speaker is the author of “Fifty-Two Words
My Husband Taught Me,” attorney Joy Rodino, who will offer
insights through the eyes of her late husband, Congressman Peter Rodino,
a 40-year legislator and defender of the Constitution who believed the
Preamble to be our country’s soul. All attendees will receive a
copy of the book, and an autograph opportunity during the
conference.
Also on hand will be Carol LaRow, a certified Google, Apple and
Smithsonian teacher. If you were at the NYS Social Studies Conference,
you may remember it was impossible to get into her sold-out sessions.
She will present twice at our conference!
