Dignity for All Students Act: Exploring the
authority of schools to control off-campus student expression
to combat cyberbullying
An overview of the NY Dignity for All Students Act now in place and a
look at the cyberbullying amendment to take effect July 2013. Panel
discussion to include how educators and schools deal with student
expression beyond the school walls and the school day.The interactive
session will cover matters of interest to lawyers whose practices
involve free speech issues, school counsel/administrators/educators, the
law enforcement community and, more broadly, the parents of any student
who communicates with peers online.
