10th Annual Women in Intellectual Property Law Program
Over a hundred women gathered in New York City on June 13,
2012 for the Intellectual Property Law Section’s tenth annual
Women in IP program. The evening began with a networking reception and
MCLE program, followed by a dessert and coffee reception.
In her remarks, Section Chair Kelly M. Slavitt highlighted the
increased participation of women in the Section’s
leadership—up almost twenty percent since the Women in IP program
began ten years ago. A diverse panel of women shared their experiences
in the field, and attendees went home with knowledge,
inspiration—and door prizes donated by sponsors. “I found
the program to be insightful and inspirational,” said one
attendee, Jean Clemente of Coach, Inc., “and I look forward to
attending other similar events in the future.”
