Counselors:
Welcome to
the Products Liability Committee web page. It is my honor to serve as chair of this Committee on behalf of
the New York State Bar Association’s Torts, Insurance and
Compensation Section.
Your 1ST Resource - It is my goal to
make this Committee, and, in particular, this web page, a practical and
useful resource tool for those who practice products liability both
within and outside the State of New York. However, with the help of our
members and through blogs for discussion, case updates and resource
links, we can make this not only a useful tool but an essential one that
will be a benefit to all who have access to it.
Drafting & Lecturing Opportunities - This
Committee has a long history, and one which shall continue, of being
invited to author and lecture on the many topics and issues that
confront the product liability practioner on a daily basis.
This is a great opportunity for you and your practice and
I encourage you to participate. Please
contact me with your ideas for articles you would like to submit or
lectures you feel would be beneficial.
Mentoring & Exchange of Ideas - Our current
membership includes some of the finest products liability attorneys in
the Country. I urge all of our current
members to contact me and become more involved. The mentoring of others and the exchange of ideas, experience
and perspective is a huge benefit to both the newer and more experienced
lawyer.
