TWELFTH DISTRICT WEB PAGEYOUR DISTRICT REPS
As the District Representatives for the 12th District, we encourage your membership in the New York State Bar Association ("NYSBA"), and more specifically the Torts, Insurance & Compensation Law Section. In addition to the numerous benefits you will receive as a member of NYSBA, the Torts Insurance & Compensation Law Section ("TICL") offers excellent year-round CLE programs in the many areas and disciplines of our practices; publishes the TICL Journal and the TICL Newsletter quarterly; sponsors and hosts a full-day CLE program in conjunction with the NYSBA Annual Meeting in NYC each January; hosts a cocktail & dinner reception in conjunction with the NYSBA Annual Meeting in NYC in January; sponsors this webpage; sponsors a blog dedicated to the issues affecting our respective practices; and hosts the TICL Annual Meeting. The last four years, the TICL Annual Meeting has been held in Killarney, Ireland (2005), The Sagamore Resort in Lake George, NY (2006), Puerto Rico (2007) and San Diego (2008). This year we will be at the Mohegan Sun with a great CLE program. The TICL Section not only offers excellent substantive programs, but also offers the opportunity to network and socialize with fellow attorneys from around the state. If you have any questions or would like to become more involved, please do not hesitate to contact either one of us. We look forward to hearing from you.
