JOURNALS, BOOKS AND LAW REVIEWS OF INTEREST

Journal of Animal Law
The journal is produced by the students of Michigan State University College of Law to explore the legal and public policy issues surrounding animals at all levels of government.  The website provides links to laws and cases by state or by topic, pleadings and briefs, comments and opinions, and articles. 

Journal of Animal Law and Ethics
An independent journal published by the University of Pennsylvania Law School.  JALE seeks to provide a scholarly forum for cross-disciplinary engagement of issues of animal law and ethics—issues that encompass several areas of law (such as criminal law, health law, family law, torts, and property) while also intersecting with non-legal disciplines (such as philosophy, veterinary medicine, history, and religious studies).

Journal of International Wildlife Law & Policy
The journal covers legal issues concerning humans and their interrelationship with and management of wildlife species, their habitats, and the biosphere including analysis of treaties, judicial decisions, and other related information.

Research Day Europe France
The journal, entitled ANIMAL - International Journal of Animal Bioscience, is a merger of the BSAS' Animal Science and INRA's Animal Research is published monthly. It will covers areas including agriculture, biomedicine and the environment.

Stanford Journal of Animal Law and Policy The Journal of Animal Law & Policy was founded in August 2007 to provide a high-quality, widely accessible forum for the publication and discussion of animal law scholarship. SJALP is by design an online-only journal.  

Lewis & Clark Law School Animal Law Review A student-run law review at Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon. The reviews objective is to educate readers about all sides of current animal-related legal issues.

Legal Scholarship Network (LSN) Sponsored Subject Matter eJournals - The Animal Law journal, sponsored by the Syracuse University College of Law, provides a forum for posting both completed works and works in progress on legal, policy, and jurisprudential issues relating to animals. 

Journal for Critical Animal Studies - online journal fostering academic study of critical animal issues in contemporary society.
